IE Student Siamak Naderi Varandi's Success

FENS PhD Student (candidate), Siamak Naderi Varandi received travel grant from  IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics Society to present his research under supervision of FENS faculty member Kemal Kılıç, titled "Fuzzy zoning: A Lagrangean Relaxation Approach" in  the 2016 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics (SMC 2016) in Budapest, Hungary, 9-12 October 2016. The mission of the Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society is to serve the interests of its members and the community at large by promoting the theory, practice, and interdisciplinary aspects of systems science and engineering, human-machine systems, and cybernetics. It is accomplished through conferences, publications, and other activities that contribute to the professional needs of its members. Only a limited number of grants were offered and the grantees were selected based on the novelty and impact of their research.
