MSc MATH alumni (June 2013) Behrooz Pourghannad who supervised by Hans Frenk and Semih Onur Sezer got two weeks ago the first prize at the INFORMS meeting at Houston in the INFORMS AAS Best Student Presentation Competition. 

INFORMS stands for The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences and is the leading organization in our field IE. His presentation was based on his master thesis and appeared as a joint paper in 2017 (Revenue Management) in the INFORMS journal Transportation Science.
